We do not hand you a plan and wish you well.
Our studio does not design a beautiful room and leaves you to build it. That is where most projects come apart — in the ordering, the lead times, the delivery that arrives damaged.
We design it, specify it, order it, inspect it, store it and install it. One studio, one point of contact, one schedule.
It is a harder way to run a design practice. It is a considerably easier way to have a house built.

Before you begin.
What is the difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator?
A decorator works with the surface of a room — furniture, fabrics, colour, art — in a space that already exists. A designer works with the space itself: layouts, proportions, lighting and electrical, millwork and structural change, alongside everything a decorator handles. Interior design generally requires formal training and involves construction documents; decorating does not.
What does full-service interior design include?
Full-service means we handle the whole project rather than producing a plan for someone else to execute: concept and floor plans, elevations and renderings, every material and furnishing selection, coordination with your architect and contractor, procurement and order placement, delivery inspection and storage, and supervised installation. All of it sits under our White Glove Service.
What does luxury residential interior design cost?
Fees depend on the number of rooms, the extent of construction involved, and how much of the project we manage. We scope design hours against your actual project and present a proposal before any work begins. There is no rate per square foot, because two houses of identical size rarely require the same number of decisions.
Do you take on single rooms, or only whole homes?
Both. A single kitchen or primary bath receives the same process and the same level of detail as a full home. Some clients begin with one room and expand from there; others phase a whole-home plan across several years.
How long does a full-home project take?
Design development runs about three weeks from the approved scope. After that the timeline depends on construction, permitting and lead times on furnishings, which for custom pieces frequently run several months. We build a schedule at the start and manage against it throughout.
Do you work outside Raleigh?
Yes. The studio is based in Raleigh and works throughout North Carolina and beyond. Travel and coordination for out-of-area projects are scoped in the proposal.
