The Studio
Refined. Eclectic. Global.
Sandra Moncada Mainz founded the studio on one principle: architecture, interiors, and furnishings are not separate decisions. They are one story, told in a single voice.
Raised across several countries and fluent in as many languages, she draws on a world of references that resolve into one point of view — not a signature look, but a fluency across many.
Her path was unconventional: industrial engineering, an MBA, years as a marketing executive, then formal training in interior design. Creative instinct backed by real technical precision.
PROPORTION / LIGHT / MATERIAL / COLOR
Named one of Raleigh’s top interior designers, 2023
“Sandra was a pleasure to work with. She listened to our design needs and presented functional and unique design ideas that fit our family’s lifestyle, taste and budget. She approached our project with professionalism, enthusiasm and a creative eye and helped us incorporate treasured family pieces with new pieces to create a beautiful, cohesive design.
We love our space and hope to work with her on other projects in the future.”
